- 6 tablespoons maple syrup (the real kind!)

- 2 medium eggs at room temperature

- 1 1/4 cups of flour
•
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
•
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
•
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
•
- 3/4 cup milk
•
FROSTING
•
- whites from 3 large eggs at room temperature
•
- 6 tablespoons granulated sugar
•
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar, not packed
•
- 4 tablespoons maple syrup
•
- 1 1/2 sticks unsalted butter, at room temperature
