Ingredients For sesame marinated duck breast w hoisin & salad

  • 4
    boneless duck breasts
  • 4 clove
    garlic minced
  • 1/4 c
    toasted sesame oil
  • 2 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp
    fresh rosemary minced
  • 3 Tbsp
    hoisin sauce plus more for dipping
  • SALAD
  • 2 Tbsp
    fresh lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp
    balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 c
    olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 4 c
    greens of choice
  • 2
    ripe mangos peeled and cubed

How To Make sesame marinated duck breast w hoisin & salad

    Mix the garlic, sesame oil, soy sauce and rosemary together. Remove the excess skin from the duck breasts. Score the skin on the breasts and place them in the marinade.

    let marinate overnight or at least 4 hours. Remove the duck from the marinade.

    Bring the breast to room temp. Heat a grille or grille pan and place the duck skin side down. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes for medium rare turning and brushing with the hoisin sauce. Serve with more sauce for dipping if desired.

    For the salad Place the greens and mangos in a bowl. Mix the lemon juice, vinegar and olive oil together. Mix well and season with salt and Pepper. Pour over the greens.
