1 lbground venison

1 ccooked barley

1 mdonion chopped

4 clovegarlic minced

1 cfresh mushrooms chopped

3 lgyukon gold potatoes diced

32 ozbeef broth
-
28 ozcan crushed tomatoes

2 Tbspancho chili powder

2 tspcumin
-
2 Tbspworcestershire sauce

1 1/2 cfrozen corn

2 Tbspcornstarch

1/2 cwater

salt and pepper to taste
How To Make ground venison chili style stew

1Brown the venison in a large skillet. Add the onion and cook until browned. Add the garlic and cook 1 more minute. Set aside.

2Place broth in a large pot. Bring to a boil. Add the potatoes and cook 10 minutes. Add the crushed tomatoes, mushrooms, Ancho chili powder, cumin, Worcestershire sauce and corn. Cook 5 more minutes. Add the browned venison mixture. Stir in the cooked barley. Mix the cornstarch and water together. Add to pot stirring constantly until thickened. Season with salt and pepper to taste
