I have been making a lot of zucchini recipes lately. I can't get enough zucchini in the summertime! Found this recipe on Skinny Taste and it was delicious! The zucchini keeps the burgers nice and moist and the bread crumbs give so much flavor (I used italian bread crumbs). Nutrition: 156 calories per burger; 6.8 grams fat; 5.5 carbs; 1.3 grams fiber; 4 WW points.

Ingredients For zucchini turkey burgers

  • 1 1/4 lb
    93% lean ground turkey
  • 1
    small zucchini, grated
  • 1/4 c
    seasoned whole wheat bread crumbs (i used italian bread crumbs)
  • 1 clove
    garlic, finely diced
  • 1 Tbsp
    red onion, finely diced
  • salt and pepper

How To Make zucchini turkey burgers

    In bowl, combine the turkey, zucchini, bread crumbs, garlic, onion, salt, and pepper. Shape into 5 patties.

    Grill burgers on grill or brown in a skillet on the stove top. If browning on the stove top, spray skillet with cooking spray to prevent patties from sticking. (I made these on my George Foreman grill and they came out beautiful!)
