Ingredients For turkey tacos

  • 1 lb
    ground turkey (if you prefer use beef)
  • 1 can
    black beans, canned
  • 1 pkg
    taco seasoning mix
  • 1 can
    corn
  • 1 can
    rotel (or any other brand/combination you prefer, tomatoes w/chillies, lime, celantro, etc.)
  • ADDITIONAL TOPPONGS
  • cheese, shredded
  • sour cream
  • green onions
  • favorite taco toppings
  • taco shells (flour or hard shell) or tortilla chips

How To Make turkey tacos

  • 1
    Brown meat and drain (if using ground beef I prefer to rinse the meat to get rid of some of the extra fat).
  • 2
    Prepare meat with taco seasoning as stated on the package (I personally use the Old ElPaso in the shacker can and adjust to my own taste).

    In the mean time drain and rinse the black beans. Drain the corn and drain some of the juice from the tomatoes.
  • 4
    Once the meat with seasoning has been cooked, add the beans, corn, and tomatoes to the meat in a skillet. Heat through and then serve. We eat it both as tacos and nachos.
