I love using Italian seasoned ground turkey and happened to have these ingredients. Also, crushed tomatoes have fewer preservatives, etc, than jarred spaghetti sauce.

Ingredients For turkey spaghetti

1 lbitalian seasoned lean ground turkey

1 cchopped peppers - any color

1/2 conion, chopped

1 tspgarlic, chopped

1 tsporegano, dried

1 tspbasil, dried

1/4 tspsalt, or to taste

28 oz cancrushed tomatoes

parmesan cheese, for garnish

4 ozwhole wheat spaghetti (or what you consider enough for 4 servings)
How To Make turkey spaghetti

1Break up ground turkey as it browns in a large skillet. Add chopped peppers and onion. Saute for a few minutes until softened,then add garlic. Add seasonings. Simmer, covered, on low.

2Meanwhile, prepare pasta according to package directions. Drain.

3Either mix together with sauce, or serve pasta with sauce on top. Garnish with grated parmesan.

4Nice with a green salad and garlic toast.
