Everyone LOVES Turkey pie, even more than the tukey dinner it follows.

Ingredients For turkey pie
- FOR THE FILLING

3 cleftover turkey, cut up

3 cleftover cooked vegetables, peas, carrots, creamed onions, mushrooms, ect

1/2 cancranberry sauce, jellied or whole berry

1 cleftover turkey gravy
-
2 to 3 cleftover turkey stuffing or dressing
- FOR THE TOPPING

6 cleftover mashed potatoes, cold

2egg yolks
-
1/4 cmelted butter, cooled

1/4 call purpose flour
-
1/4 cgrated parmesan cheese
-
1/8 tspblack pepper
-
1/8 tspsalt
-
1prepared pie shell
-
leftover gravy
How To Make turkey pie

1preheat oven to 375

2For the filling: Mix all ingredients in large bowl, set aside.

3For the topping: Mix the potatoes and eggs first, then the rest of the ingredients, set aside.

4Lay your prepared pie shell in a deep dish pie dish. I use the roll out kind, because the ones that come in a tin are not deep enough.

5form your edging the way you like.

6pour filling into shell, pressing down to fill holes.

7spread topping over filling, pressing down to seal all holes.

8Bake for about an hour, hour and 15 minutes, or until topping is golden brown. Remove from oven and set on counter for 10 minutes before serving.

9serve with gravy, if desired.
