Ingredients For turkey pastel

1 call purpose flour

1/4 ccornmeal

6 Tbspbutter

1/2 cricotta cheese

1 cdiced cooked turkey, packed

1 cgrated longhorn cheese

1/3 cgreen onions, chopped

1/4 tspblack pepper

1/4 tspground cumin
How To Make turkey pastel

1Combine flour and cornmeal, cut in cold butter until it resemble coarse cornmeal. Beat in ricotta until a soft dough forms.

2Roll out half the dough into a 10-12" round. Place on lightly buttered baking sheet.

3Combine filling ingredients. Spoon over pastry to within an inch of the edge. Roll out remaining dough. Place over filling. Seal the edges.

4Bake at 400^ for 20-25 minutes until golden. Let stand 5-10 minutes and serve.
