turkey injection/smoke sauce
This is the only injection sauce I use in our turkey!! It is amazing and so tasty. A friend of mine was stationed in Guam and got the recipe there. She gave it to me over 30 years ago and we have used it since. I think if you try it, you will definitely like it.

Ingredients For turkey injection/smoke sauce

1 clemon or lime juice

1 cwater

1 bottletabasco ((5 ounce)

1/2 bottleliquid smoke flavoring

1/2 bottlegarlic juice (hard to find and have to order on amazon. the bottle is 5 ounces so i use about 1/3 of it)

1/4 csalt
How To Make turkey injection/smoke sauce

1Mix all ingredients together and cook on stove until salt melts.

2Let cool.

3Inject a 10 - 12 lb turkey with the mixture. (If a larger turkey, double recipe)

4Marinate the turkey overnight in the refrigerator.

5Wrap some foil on wings. Season outside of turkey with some seasoning of your choice. I usually do a little onion powder, salt and pepper.

6Smoke turkey. Let sit about 10 minutes before carving.
