This is a "grilling" favorite of ours. We add all the trimmings and invite our closest friends. great with grilled veggies on the side and a large helping of fruit salad.

Ingredients For turkey and mushroom burgers

  • 2 Tbsp
    egg substitute
  • 1/3 c
    skim milk
  • 1/3 c
    fresh bread crumbs
  • 1/3 tsp
    mrs. dash or kroger "zesty" salt free seasoning
  • 1/4 c
    cup finely chopped shallots or sweet onion
  • 1 lb
    ground lean turkey
  • 4 oz
    mushrooms, finely chopped
  • olive oil cooking spray

How To Make turkey and mushroom burgers

  • 1
    mix everything in a large bowl until well combined.
  • 2
    shape into 6 each 1/2" thick round patties
  • 3
    spray grill or frying pan with olive oil spray *or brush with olive oil using a pastry brush*

    grill one side around 5 minutes then turn. make sure patties are browned and juices run clear.

    serve on hamburger buns, topping with lettuce, tomatoes and your favorite condiments
