Ingredients

  • 1 pound chopd turkey
  • 1/4 cup onion, chopd
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup parsley, chopd
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon blk pepper
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 1/2 cups mushrooms, sliced thick
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 can beef consomme
  • 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1 cup half n half
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas....the healthy part ;)

How To Make swedish turkey meatballs

  • Step 1
    PREHEAT OVEN TO 375 IN A LARGE BOWL COMBINE FIRST 7 INGREDIENTS THEN ROLL INTO 1" MEATBALLS. PLACE ON BAKN PAN N BAKE FOR 5 MINUTES TURN N BAKE FOR 5 MORE(if meatballs r STICKN drizzle a TBLSPN of olive oil)...REMOVE FROM OVEN

    WHILE MEATBALLS R BAKN. IN A LARGE PAN HEAT UP 2 TBLSPNS OF BUTTER N ADD MUSHROOMS N LET BROWN A BIT...THEN ADD FLOUR N COOK FOR 2 MINUTES (U MAY NEED TO ADD ADDTNL TBLSPN OF BUTTER)
  • Step 3
    STIR IN CONSUMME, HALF N HALF, WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE N SOUR CREAM.....COOK FOR 5 MINUTES OVER MED HEAT WHILE STIRRING OCCASIONALY.
  • Step 4
    ADD FROZEN PEAS N COOKD MEATBALLS. STIR TO COAT MEATBALLS N SIMMER FOR 10 MINUTES. SEASON WITH S n P TO TASTE
