Ingredients For spaghetti squash with turkey meat sauce

  • 1 md
    spaghetti squash
  • 1 can
    tomatoes
  • 1 lb
    ground or cut up turkey
  • 1/2 c
    chopped onion
  • 2 clove
    garlic
  • 1/4 c
    chicken stock
  • 1 c
    sliced mushrooms
  • 1 Tbsp
    italian seasoning

How To Make spaghetti squash with turkey meat sauce

    1.Cook squash in oven until soft. Remove from oven and use fork to make "spaghetti". 2.While squash is cooking in the oven, puree tomatoes. Then put into medium sauce pan with fennel and heat on low for about 20 minutes. 3.In a non-stick skillet, sauté garlic, onions and mushrooms until onions are soft. Then add ground turkey and chicken stock and cook thoroughly. 4.Add the ground turkey mixture to the tomato sauce pan and let simmer for another 4-5 minutes. 5.Put "spaghetti" on plate and pour sauce on top. 6.Enjoy!
