This is a spicy chili that's very easy to make. It's great for game time or for any cool night that you want something to warm you up!

Ingredients For salsa chili

  • 2 lb
    ground turkey breast, or ground beef
  • 1/2
    of a lg onion, chopped.
  • 1 tsp
    black pepper.
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic salt
  • 2-1/2 c
    tomato sauce
  • 1
    8 oz jar, spicy salsa.
  • 4 Tbsp
    chili seasoning mix, like mccormick's.

    15 oz can light kidney beans, drained.
  • 1
    15 oz can dark red kidney beans, drained.
  • 2
    green onions, chopped.
  • 1/2 c
    light sour cream

How To Make salsa chili

  • 1
    In lg pot, over medium heat, combine ground turkey and onion. Cook until ground turkey is browned. If using ground beef, drain the fat. Add to pot, the pepper, garlic salt, tomato sauce, salsa, chili seasoning mix and both beans. Mix well. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 1 hr. Garnish w/ sour cream and green onions.
