This is a pretty simple one-pot lasagna. I don't dirty any other dishes! I used a Dutch oven, but it will work with any pan that can transfer from stovetop to oven. To make it a little spicier I add crushed red pepper flakes!!

What a quick and easy lasagna! Since you're only dirtying one pot, it's great to throw together on a busy night. Cumin was an unusual spice, but it blends lovely with the other spices. The cream cheese makes the sauce super creamy. It's so flavorful, I bet no one will even be able to tell this lasagna is made with ground turkey. Your whole crew is going to love this!

How To Make one-pot lasagna

Test Kitchen Tips
You may need to use a little elbow grease to clean the pot afterward. But this is so yummy, it's worth a few extra minutes of soaking the pot.
  • 1
In a Dutch oven, or other pot able to use on stovetop and oven, cook the ground turkey with minced onion, garlic and basil.
  • 2
Once the turkey is cooked, add the remaining spices and the marinara sauce and simmer on low for 30 minutes.
  • 3
Add in the cream cheese and let it melt down until the mixture is creamy.
  • 4
Then introduce the mozzarella and let it let it thicken. Once the two soft cheeses have combined, use your spoon/spatula to push aside the turkey mixture and lay one of your noodles down.
  • 5
Then push the turkey back over top of the noodle and lay the next noodle down and cover that up, forming the bottom layer of your lasagna.
  • 6
Sprinkle some mozzarella down and then place remaining noodles on top of your turkey and cheese mix. Sprinkle with additional cheese to help it hold together.
  • 7
Place in the oven on 350* for 30 minutes with the cover and then an additional 10 minutes with out the cover to crisp the cheese. *I also threw a light dusting of garlic powder, pepper, and salt on top to melt in with the cheese.

Slice off a piece, grab some garlic bread and enjoy!
