Ingredients For joe's homemade chili

2 lbground turkey
-
2 mdzucchini, halved and sliced

1 mdred pepper, cored and diced

1 mdgreen pepper, cored and diced

1 mdonion, chopped

1 Tbspolive oil, extra virgin

2 can(15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
-
2 can(15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
-
2 can(15 oz) garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
-
1 can(28 oz) diced tomatoes, un-drained

3 clovegarlic, minced
-
1 Tbspchili powder
-
1 tsppaprika
-
1 tsporegano, dried
-
fresh ground pepper
-
sea salt to taste
How To Make joe's homemade chili

1In large pot brown turkey with onions and drain excess fat.

2Place vegetables, half the garlic and oil in pot and saute until tender. Add beans, and tomatoes.

3Bring to a boil, then simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.

4Add spices and the rest of the garlic; mix well. Simmer for five more minutes. Add pepper and sea salt to taste

5NOTES: Freezed great in a Tupperware container. For a vegetarian variety simply take out the ground turkey.

6Make a complete plate with a piece of cornbread.
