Ingredients For honey basted roast turkey

1 choney

10 - 12 lbturkey

4 Tbsppeanut oil

1 tspallspice, ground

1 tspsage, ground

salt & pepper, to taste
How To Make honey basted roast turkey

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

2Remove turkey's giblet packet. Rinse turkey & pat dry.

3Rub turkey inside & out with peanut oil.

4Combine spices & rub on outside of turkey.

5Bake turkey in roasting pan covered with foil. Allow 18 - 20 minutes per pound. Cook until juices run clear with no hint of pink when pierced.

6During last hour of roasting, brush the honey on the turkey at 20 minute intervals. When baking is complete let rest for 7 - 10 minutes.
