Very healthy, so saucy chili, delicious w/ cornbread. You can make it spicier by adding more cayenne pepper. Perfect for game watching days!

Ingredients For healthy saucy chili

    ground turkey breast
  • 1
    onion, chopped
  • 1
    green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1
    celery stalk, chopped
  • 1
    46 oz bottle v-8 tomato/vegetable juice, perferably spicy
  • 1
    29 oz can tomato sauce
  • 1/4 c
    chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt and pepper, each
  • 2 tsp
    ground cumin
  • 1-1/2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    oregano
  • 1/2 tsp
    sugar
  • 1/4 tsp
    cayenne pepper
  • 1
    14.5 oz can diced tomatoes
  • 1
    15 oz can red kidney beans, drained
  • 1
    15.5 oz can chili beans

How To Make healthy saucy chili

  • 1
    Spray a lg pot w/ cooking spray, place over med-high heat. Brown ground turkey, onion, green bell pepper and celery until onion is soft and turkey is coooked fully.

    Add remaining ingredients to pot. Simmer, stirring occasionally, for 3 hrs. Top off each bowl w/ some light sour cream, if desired.
