I've used this recipe for years, & we think it tastes just like sausage, without all the fat. Use it just as you would sausage, alone or in any recipe that calls for sausage. I hope you enjoy it too!

Ingredients For ground turkey sausage

  • 2 lb
    ground turkey
  • 2 tsp
    ground sage (dried)
  • 1 tsp
    ground black pepper
  • 1 pkg
    (individual packet) equal or similar sweetener
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    mace
  • 1/4 tsp
    allspice
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/8 tsp
    ground cloves

How To Make ground turkey sausage

    In a large bowl, place meat, & press out & up sides, so spices can be sprinkled on evenly.

    In a small bowl, place remaining ingredients & stir well to combine. Crush & stir in any small lumps that may be present, so all is well mixed.

    Sprinkle spice mixture evenly over whole surface of meat, then knead the meat as you would bread, til all is well mixed.

    Use as you would any ground sausage, as is in patties, or in any recipe calling for sausage.
