This is a wonderful recipe to use up that leftover turkey or chicken....DELISH! Sometimes I add veggies to the dish...great either way...enjoy!

Ingredients For creamed turkey over biscuits

6 Tbspflour
-
6 Tbspbutter
-
2 1/2 cmilk ( extra if too thick )
-
1 cheavy cream
-
pinchnutmeg
-
1 Tbspchicken or turkey bouillon paste or to taste

salt and pepper to taste

1 1/2 cfrozen peas ( optional )

3 - 4 ccooked, cubed turkey or chicken

8home made or store bought biscuits ( prepared )
How To Make creamed turkey over biscuits

1In a medium saucepan, melt butter. Stir in flour until smooth. Gradually whisk in milk and cream. Season with nutmeg, bouillon, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil. Cook and stir 2 minutes or until thickened. Add peas if using. Stir in the chicken; heat through. ( if too thick...add a bit more milk till desired thickness.) Serve over biscuits.

2Serve over biscuits. This would also be great ladled over mashed potatoes...enjoy!!
