  • 4 lb
    pork shoulder
  • 3 Tbsp
    achiote paste
  • 2 Tbsp
    guaillo chili powder
  • 6 Tbsp
    garlic minced
  • 1 Tbsp
    each mexican oregano, cumin and salt
  • 1 tsp
    black pepper
  • 3/4 c
    white vinegar
  • 1 1/2 c
    pineapple juice
  • TOPPINGS AND ASSEMBLY
  • 10
    flour taco shells
  • fresh red cabbage chopped
  • red onion sliced
  • favorite salsa
  • cubed pineapple
  • sliced avocado
  • fresh cilantro chopped
  • lime wedges

How To Make taco's al pastor

    Cut the pork into cubes. Mix the remaining ingredients through the pineapple juice in a large bowl. Mix the ingredients until the paste is dissolved and well incorporated. Add the pork. Cover and let marinate for up to 3 days. Pour into a slow cooker and cook on low for 8 hours. Drain the pork.

    To assemble Place the flour tortillas in a hot pan and cook until browned.
