This is a recipe I saved from my Mothers best friend Beverly Her Fathers recipe. In the 70's Before Mexican food was popular. When he visited and made Taco's. Everyone would show up for his Taco's. He put the filling in the shells and baked.

Ingredients For taco filling

  • 1 lb
    1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 md
    onion chopped
  • 1 Tbsp
    =oregano
  • 2 tsp
    cumin
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder
  • dash
    salt & pepper

How To Make taco filling

    Brown ground beef with onion, drain.
  • 2
    Add the Spices. You can add more seasonings to your taste. Turn heat to lowest setting and cover with Lid for about 10 minutes. Turn heat off to allow the spices to meld with the beef.
  • Cover and turn heat to lowest setting for about 5 minutes.
Turn off heat to allow the spices to meld with the Beef.

    Add to your favorite Taco shells with your favorite toppings. Or get creative and make a Mexicen Pizza, or Casserole. This Taco filling is very Versatile.
