This is one of my favorite Fajita recipes! This is not only great cooked in a heavy skillet on the stove, but also cooked on the grill in a stirfry basket. Its got a wonderful smokey flavor!

Ingredients For ~ sheri's steak fajitas ~

3 Tbsplime juice ( freshly squeezed)

2 Tbspolive oil

2 Tbsporange juice ( freshly squeezed)

2 tspcumin

1 tspchili powder
-
1 tspliquid smoke
-
1 tspsalt

1 tsporegano, crushed
-
1 lbsirloin steak (sliced into thin strips)

1 lgonion ( sliced into strips)
-
2red bell peppers (sliced into strips)

2green bell peppers (sliced into strips)
How To Make ~ sheri's steak fajitas ~

1In a small bowl, combine lime juice, olive oil, orange juice, cumin, chili powder, liquid smoke, salt and oregano.

2Mix up well and set aside.

3Slice the meat into thin strips and put in a gallon ziplock bag or covered bowl and add marinade ingredients and mix well.

4Marinate in refrigerator overnight, mixing once or twice while in refrigerator.

5Slice bell peppers and onion into strips.
-
6In a heavy skillet, add a little oil and cook steak on high heat until done then add vegetables and cook until slightly tender.

7Serve with flour tortillas and guacamole.
