Ingredients For grands taco melts ( empanadas)

1/2 pkgtaco seasoning mix
-
1/3 cwater
-
3/4 csalsa total 6 tbs. filling & 6 tbs to serve
-
1/2 lblean ground beef
-
1/2 can16.3 pillsbury grands ( or store bought ) refrigerated biscuits
-
1/2 cshredded cheddar monterey jack , mexican cheese blends 2 oz ,
-
1/2 csour cream if desired
How To Make grands taco melts ( empanadas)

1Preheat oven to 375 degrees , brown ground beef and drain, add taco seasoning mix , water & 6 Tbs salsa . cook until thickening . press or roll each biscuit into 6' circle . Fill each center with taco mixture ( leaving 1/2' edge ) Spinkle with 1 Tbs. cheese . Fold dough over filling & press edges with fork to seal. Place on a GREASED Cookie sheet, leaving about 2" between each . Bake remaining salsa , cheese and sour cream If desired
