I created a new first-ever oven-fried salmon recipe with a taste of cheeses.

Ingredients For cheesy oven-fried salmon

  • 8
    salmon fillets (6 ounces)
  • 2 Tbsp
    Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 tsp
    sea salt mixed with black pepper
  • 2 tsp
    onion powder
  • 1 c
    panko bread crumbs
  • 2 Tbsp
    Italian dressing mix
  • 1 c
    shredded parmesan cheese
  • CHEESE MARINADE
  • 1 3/4 c
    heavy cream
  • 1/2 c
    melted margarine
  • 3/4 c
    milk
  • 4 oz
    cream cheese, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
  • 1 c
    grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 c
    shredded Italian cheese blend
  • 1 c
    shredded sharp cheddar cheese

How To Make cheesy oven-fried salmon

    Place salmon fillets in a medium bowl, add old bay seasoning, sea salt/black pepper, and onion powder; mix well.

    To make Cheese Marinade, in a large bowl, combine heavy cream, melted margarine, milk, cubed cream cheese, and the next 3 ingredients. Whisk together for 3 minutes until blended.

    Put seasoned salmon fillets into a large Ziploc bag.

    Pour Cheese Marinade into the salmon fillets in the bag. Zip the bag and shake it.

    Refrigerate for 3 hours.

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

    Line a roasting pan with aluminum foil. Coat with a nonstick cooking spray.

    Place bread crumbs, Italian dressing mix, and shredded Parmesan cheese in a shallow dish.

    Take the cheese covered fillets out of the bag with tongs.

    Dredge and coated the fillets in bread crumb mixture.

    Place the fillets on the aluminum foil covered roasting pan and bake for 30 minutes.
