This is so good. Tuna melts in your mouth and the sauce has it all umami, sweet, spicy, salty and great with the slight bitterness of the arugula then finished off with that little bit of creamy sweetness.

Ingredients For tom yum tuna steak
- FOR THE TOM YUM SAUCE

1 Tbsplemongrass paste

4 clovegarlic

1inch size ginger peeled

1-2 Tbsptom yum paste depending on how spicy you want it

1/4 ccilantro
-
1 smlime juiced and zested
-
1 Tbspshrimp paste

1 Tbspfish sauce
-
2 Tbsppeanut oil
-
1/4 cbrown sugar
- FOR THE TUNA

4portions tuna steaks sushi grade
- FOR THE GARNISH

coconut cream
-
arugula for serving
How To Make tom yum tuna steak

1Place all the ingredients for the Tom Yum Sauce together in a food processor and process until well mixed. Slather the sauce on the both sides of the Tuna steaks with the sauce and let marinate for at least 1 hour.

2Sear each Tuna Steak in a hot pan with a little oil. Cast Iron works great. Sear on all sides.

3Place a bed of arugula on each plate. Top with a Tuna Steak and swish some Coconut cream over top
