These salmon cakes are just awesome! The absolute best when served with a nice cheese sauce! Give them a try and enjoy :) The prep time doesn't include the 45 minutes in the refrigerator. My recipe for "A Nice Cheese Sauce" is posted too.

Ingredients For super salmon cakes

1/4 cminced onion

1/4 cmayo

1 Tbsplemon juice

1/4 tspseasoned salt

1/4 tspred pepper (cayenne)

1beaten egg

1 cansalmon (drained, skin and bones removed)

1 cdry bread crumbs, divided

3 Tbspbutter
How To Make super salmon cakes

1Combine the first five ingredients. Stir in the egg, flaked salmon, and 4 tablespoons of bread crumbs. Refrigerate for 45 minutes.

2Divide mixture into 8 balls. Roll balls in the remaining bread crumbs. Flatten balls into 1/2 inch thick patties.

3Fry in melted butter for 3 to 4 minutes per side, until nicely browned.

4These are awesome served with a cheese sauce. That's how we enjoy them!
