Ingredients For shrimp with spicy puttanesca sauce

8 ozlinguine or spaghetti noodles, uncooked

1 Tbspolive oil

12 ozshrimp, medium size, peeled & deveined

4 clovegarlic, minced
-
3/4 tspred pepper flakes (or to your liking)

1 conion, finely chopped

1 can14 oz. can stewed tomatoes, undrained

2 Tbsptomato paste
-
2 Tbspkalamata olives, pitted and chopped

1 Tbspcapers, drained

1/4 cfresh parsley, chopped
How To Make shrimp with spicy puttanesca sauce

1Cook pasta according to pkg. instructions - drain and set aside.

2Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp, garlic and red pepper flakes -- saute 3-4 minutes or until shrimp are opaque. Remove shrimp mixture to a bowl and set aside.

3Add onion to skillet and cook approx. 5 minutes; stirring occasionally. Add undrained tomatoes, tomato paste, olives and capers. Simmer mixture for approx. 5 min.

4Add shrimp mixture to the skillet and simmer 1 minute. Stir in parsley and serve over pasta.
