Ingredients For shrimp creole

  • 3 pieces of bacon, 1/2 bell pepper, chopped, 1/2 onion, chopped, 1 stalk celery chopped, 1 lb. shrimp, peeled 1 pint tomatoes chopped 1 small can tomatoe past, 1 tsp sugar, 1 bay leaf salt and pepper to taste

How To Make shrimp creole

    Fry bacon until crisp, drain oil off and save and crumble bacon. Saute onion and bell pepper along with celery in bacon dripping until tender. Stir in tomatoes and tomato paste until well blended. Add bay leaf and simmer for 15 minutes. Add sugar, shrimp and bacon and cook until shrimp turn pink. Don't over cook shrimp.
