4 Tbspbutter

6 ozCanadian bacon, cubed

1 mdred bell pepper, chopped

4 stalkgreen onions, white and green parts separated and chopped

1 mljalapeno, seeded and chopped

4 clovegarlic

4 Tbspflour

4 cchicken stock

1 tspWorcestershire sauce

1 lbshrimp, peeled and deveined

salt and pepper, to taste

cooked pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes for serving
How To Make shrimp and canadian bacon gravy

1Add butter to a large pan. Add the Canadian bacon and cook until browned; about 5 minutes. Add the red bell pepper, whites of the green onions, jalapeno, and garlic. Cook for about 5 minutes. Sprinkle the flour over the top of the veggie mix and cook stirring constantly for 3 minutes.

2Slowly pour the chicken stock whisking to incorporate the flour and thicken the stock. Add the Worcestershire sauce. Lower the heat and let simmer for about 15 minutes. Add the shrimp and cook for about 3 minutes. Taste and season with salt and pepper

3Garnish with the green parts of the green onions and serve over pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes.
