Ingredients For seared scallops in red sauce

1/4 ctomato sauce

1/4 crice wine or dry sherry
- SCALLOPS

2 Tbspvegetable oil

16sea scallops

How To Make seared scallops in red sauce

1First make the sauce. Add the oil to a saucepan. Cook the garlic and ginger 1 minute. Add the remaining sauce ingredients and simmer 3 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

2For the scallops, add the oil to another pan. Season the scallops with salt and pepper. Sear the scallops ,working in batches if needed, over high heat for about 2 minutes per side.

3Plate the sauce and top with the seared scallops.
