Ingredients For seared scallops in a garlic chive sauce

3 Tbspbutter
- GARLIC CHIVE SAUCE

2 clovegarlic minced

3 Tbspfinely chopped chives

2 Tbsphot water

2 tsplime juice

1 tspfish sauce

salt & white pepper
How To Make seared scallops in a garlic chive sauce

1Make the sauce. Add the garlic, chives, hot water, lime juice and fish sauce in a small saucepan. Cook over med high heat for 3 minutes. Taste and adjust for salt and white pepper. Set aside.

2for the scallops Add the butter to a skillet. Pat the scallops dry and season with salt and pepper

3When the butter is hot add the scallops and sear for about 4 or 5 minutes per side to get a good crust.

4Arrange on a plate and top with sauce.
