Ingredients For scallops in lemongrass ginger sauce

    sea scallops
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/4 c
    olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp
    lemongrass paste
  • 1 Tbsp
    fish sauce
  • 2 clove
    garlic minced
  • 1 Tbsp
    ginger grated
  • 1/4 c
    brown sugar
  • 3
    scallions chopped

How To Make scallops in lemongrass ginger sauce

    For the sauce Mix the lemongrass paste, garlic, ginger, fish sauce and brown sugar together in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and cook until sugar is dissolved. Set aside.

    In a skillet add the olive oil. Pat the scallops dry and season with salt and pepper

    Sear on each side for about 4 minutes. Spoon sauce on serving plate. Transfer the scallops to the plate and garnish with scallions.
