Ingredients For scallops in a soy ginger, cilantro vinaigrette

  • 1/4 c
    olive oil
  • 12 lg
    sea scallops
  • salt and pepper
  • SOY GINGER CILANTRO VINAGRETTE
  • 1 c
    fresh cilantro finely chopped
  • 1 Tbsp
    ginger grated
  • 1/4 c
    rice vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    honey
  • 1/3 c
    peanut oil

How To Make scallops in a soy ginger, cilantro vinaigrette

  • 1
    Place all the ingredients for the vinagrette in a jar with a lid. Shake vigorously to combine. Set aside.

    Season the scallops with salt and pepper. Add the olive oil to a large skillet. Once the oil is smoking sear the scallops about 3 minutes per side.

    Drizzle the vinagrette onto a serving dish and place the scallops on top.
