Ingredients For scalloped oysters

1 qtshucked maryland standard oysters with liquor

3 ccoarsely crushed fresh crackers (use big oyster crackers or water biscuits)

1 stickmargarine or butter

2 cmilk

salt and pepper
How To Make scalloped oysters

1In a greased 2-quart casserole, place alternate layers of oysters and crackers, doting with butter and sprinkling with salt and pepper. End with a layer of crumbs.

2Add milk until liquid almost reaches top of casserole. Dot with remaining butter. Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees F for 45-60 minutes until browned.
