Ingredients For salmon cakes with garlic sauce

  • FOR THE SALMON CAKES
  • 2 c
    cooked salmon
  • 1/2 c
    panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 md
    onion chopped finely
  • 4 clove
    garlic minced
  • 1 Tbsp
    dill weed
  • 2 tsp
    ground fennel
  • 1 lg
    egg
  • 1/4 c
    mayonnnaise
  • 2 tsp
    dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    black pepper
  • GARLIC SAUCE
  • 1/2 c
    mayonnaise
  • 4 clove
    garlic minced
  • 1 Tbsp
    fresh lemon juice
  • heavy cream to thin
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • dill weed to garnish

How To Make salmon cakes with garlic sauce

  • 1
    Mix all the salmon cake ingredients together except for Panko and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Mix all the ingredients for the garlic sauce together and refrigerate.

    Shape the salmon cake into patties and roll in Panko and fry in oil until browned on both sides. Transfer to a 350 degree oven and bake 15 minutes.

    Serve with garlic sauce and garnish with dill.
