Ingredients For pan seared sea scallops in soy ginger honey sauce

  • SOY GINGER HONEY SAUCE
  • 1/4 c
    each soy sauce, mirin & lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp
    finely grated ginger
  • 2 clove
    garlic minced
  • 2 Tbsp
    honey
  • SCALLOPS
  • 1 lb
    sea scallops patted dry
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 Tbsp
    vegetable oil
  • micro cilantro for garnish

How To Make pan seared sea scallops in soy ginger honey sauce

    For the sauce: Mix all ingredients together in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to simmer and simmer until thickened and reduced. About 10 minutes

    For the scallops: Season the scallops with salt and pepper. Add oil to a hot pan and sear the scallops about 2 minutes per side.

    Spoon sauce onto a plate. Top with scallops and micro cilantro. Serve immediately.
