Ingredients For pan seared sea scallop with xo sauce

  • 6 lg
    sea scallops
  • 1/2 tsp
    curry powder
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 Tbsp
    each butter and olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp
    xo sauce
  • 1/2
    lemon juiced
  • chopped scallions for garnish

How To Make pan seared sea scallop with xo sauce

  • 1
    Pat the scallops dry. Mix the curry powder with the salt and pepper and season the scallops on both sides.

    Add the butter and oil to a large skillet. Once the butter is melted sear the scallops about 2 minutes each side. Squeeze the lemon juice over the scallop.

    Remove the scallops to a plate and top with XO sauce and garnish with scallions.
