1 1/2 crice or rice noodles

3 Tbspeach soy sauce and tomato paste

1 Tbspchili garlic sauce

3 Tbspbrown sugar

1 Tbsptoasted sesame oil

1/2 cred onion finely chopped

1 Tbspginger grated

2 lbjumbo shrimp peeled and deveined

2green onions thinly sliced

How To Make malaysian style sweet chili shrimp

1Cook the rice or noodles according to package directions. Meanwhile whisk together the soy sauce, tomato paste, chili garlic sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and 1 cup of water. set aside.

2Place oil in a large skillet. Heat the olive oil over med high heat. Add the onion, garlic and ginger. Cook about 5 minutes. Add the soy sauce mixture. Bring to a boil and reduce to a simmer and simmer for 10 minutes until thickened.

3Add the shrimp and cook another 3 to 4 minutes until shrimp are pink. Serve the shrimp and sauce over the rice or noodles and garnish with green onions and cilantro
