Ingredients For creamy orzo with shrimp, peas and parmesan

2 Tbspbutter

1 mdonion, chopped

4 clovegarlic, minced

salt, to taste

pepper, to taste

1 corzo

1/4 cwhite wine

4 cchicken or seafood stock

1/2 cpeas, thawed if frozen

1/2 lbshrimp, peeled, deveined cut into 1 inch pieces

1/2 cfresh grated Parmesan, plus more for garnish
How To Make creamy orzo with shrimp, peas and parmesan

1Melt the butter in a large skillet. Add the onion and garlic and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 3 minutes. Add or orzo and cook for another minutes. Add the wine and let most evaporate.

2Pour in the stock and bring to a boil cook about 15 minutes. Add the peas and shrimp and cook 5 more minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the Parmesan cheese until it's melted. Taste and adjust for seasoning. Serve with more grated Parmesan cheese
