Ingredients For ~ creamy linguine & shrimp ~

  • IF YOU LIKE REALLY SAUCY- MAKE ANOTHER 1/2 OF SAUCE RECIPE
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter + 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 1/2 lb
    med - large - peeled and deviened shrimp
  • 1 lb
    linguine pasta - cooked according to pkg
  • 1 stick
    butter
  • 2 lg
    garlic cloves. minced
  • 2 Tbsp
    softened, cream cheese
  • 2 c
    heavy cream
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder
  • salt
    and pepper to taste
  • 3/4 c
    fresh shredded parmesan cheese
  • fresh
    parsley, minced

How To Make ~ creamy linguine & shrimp ~

    In a medium skillet over medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon butter and add 1 tablespoon olive oil. Once hot - add the shrimp and cook on one side until edges are turning white, then turn to other side and cook another minute. Don't overcook. Set aside. In a large saucepan, melt 1 stick of butter and add the garlic, cook a few minutes - stirring. Add the cream cheese and once melted add the cream. Stir in the seasoning. Simmer for 14 - 18 minutes, then stir in the Parmesan cheese and remove from heat. Taste for seasoning adjustments. Stir in parsley and the shrimp. Toss with hot cooked pasta. Enjoy!
