Ingredients For butter poached shrimp

  • 2 stick
    good quality butter
  • 1 lb
    shrimp peeled and deveined at room temp
  • kosher salt
  • fresh parsley

How To Make butter poached shrimp

  • 1
    Slowly melt the butter over medium heat. Do not let it boil just keep it at a simmer. Add the shrimp and make sure the shrimp is completely covered by the butter.

    Cook until the shrimp just turns pink. Remove to a plate and add salt and top with parsley.
