Great way to cook shrimp if you have the 2 to 3 hours to let them marinade. Easy and delicious! Not really barbecue since it's done in the oven, but this is made often in Georgia and called "barbecue" shrimp.

1 cbutter

1/2 colive oil

1 1/2 Tbsplemon juice

4 clovegarlic, crushed

2bay leaves, crushed

2 tspdried rosemary, crushed

1 tsppaprika

1/2 tspsalt

1/2 tspground red pepper

1/2 tspdried oregano, crushed

1/4 tspblack pepper
-
2 dashhot sauce
-
2 dashworcestershire sauce

3 lbunpeeled large fresh shrimp
How To Make barbecued shrimp (georgia style)

1Combine all ingredients except shrimp in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil; reduce heat, and simmer, uncovered, 15 minutes.

2Rinse the shrimp; drain. Place in an ungreased 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish. Pour the butter mixture over the shrimp. Cover and chill 2 to 3 hours.

3Uncover and bake at 400° for 20 to 25 minutes or until the shrimp turn pink and the shells start to pull away, basting occasionally.
