*You can substitute the shrimp with chicken, if desired. When it is just my husband and myself eating, I cut the shrimp ingredients in half, but use the full recipe of sauce because we like it a little more saucy than the original recipe makes it.

Ingredients For bang bang shrimp pasta

1 lbuncooked spaghetti (or pasta of your choice)

1 1/2 lbraw medium shrimp, peeled and deveined*

1 1/2 Tbspolive oil

3 clovegarlic, minced

1 Tbsppaprika
-
1 Tbspfresh parsley, minced

black pepper, to taste
- FOR THE SAUCE

1/2 cmayonnaise (no substitutions)

1/2 cthai sweet chili sauce (in the asian aisle)

2 clovegarlic, minced
-
2 Tbsplime juice
-
1/4 tspcrushed red pepper, or to taste

1 1/2 tsponion powder
How To Make bang bang shrimp pasta

1Mix all of the sauce ingredients in a large bowl and set aside.

2Cook pasta according to package directions; drain and set aside.

3Place uncooked shrimp (or chicken) in a medium bowl; add the paprika, 3 cloves of garlic and pepper.

4In a large skillet over medium heat, add the coated shrimp (or chicken). Cook, stirring constantly, until shrimp is opaque or chicken, if using, is no longer pink, about 10 minutes.

5Remove from heat and set aside.

6In a large serving bowl, combine the pasta, shrimp/chicken, and sauce mixture. Toss well to coat.
