I used my Maryland crab cake recipe and switched it up a bit with some Asian flavors. It was moist and delicious. Great served with cilantro rice

Ingredients For asian crab cakes

  • 1 lb
    lump crab meat
  • 1/4 c
    mayo
  • 1/2 c
    panko bread crumbs
  • 1 lg
    egg
  • 2 Tbsp
    dijon mustard
  • 2 tsp
    soy sauce
  • 1 tsp
    chili garlic sauce
  • 2 Tbsp
    vegetable oil
  • thai basil for garnish
  • 1 bottle
    yum yum sauce

How To Make asian crab cakes

  • 1
    Mix the first 7 ingredients together and shape into 4 to 6 patties. If the patties are too wet use more Panko.
  • 2
    Place the oil in a large skillet. Place on med high heat add the patties and cook for 10 minutes flipping a couple of times to get them browned but not burnt.
  • 3
    To serve place some Yum Yum sauce on plate. Top with a crab cake and garnish with Thai Basil
