Ingredients For ahi poke

  • 2 clove
    garlic minced
  • 1
    inch piece of ginger grated
  • 1/2 c
    soy sauce
  • 1/4 c
    rice vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp
    mirin
  • 1 tsp
    each sesame oil and sambal oelek
  • 1 lb
    sushi grade ahi tuna cut into small dice
  • 3
    scallions chopped
  • 3 Tbsp
    toasted macadamia nuts
  • 1/4 c
    fresh cilantro chopped

How To Make ahi poke

    In a small bowl combine the garlic, ginger, soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, sambal and Mirin
  • 2
    Place the tunal in a bowl and pour the soy mixture over top. Set in fridge for 30 minutes.

    remove from fridge and stir in the nuts and garnish with cilantro
