This was my Mom's recipe. It is rich and delicious and a real comfort food with all of the benefits of spinach. what more could you want?

Ingredients For spinach pie

1 pkgpie pastry, prepared top and bottom

3 boxfrozen, chopped spinach, (thawed and drained)

1 Tbspchopped garlic
-
8 oz(or more) shredded cheese

1small can black olives chopped
-
3/4 cgreen olives chopped
-
diced pepperoni, ham, cooked sausage or salami (these are the meats that i have tried, but you can use whatever you like)

3/4 cparmesan cheese
How To Make spinach pie

1Place the bottom pie crust in a deep casserole dish.

2Mix all of the other ingredients in a large bowl and put on top of the pie crust. Top with the second pie crust and seal the edges by pinching together.

3Cut a few steam holes in the top crust.

4Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
