Childhood memories.... Use leftover chicken, beef or turkey after Thanksgiving! You can play around with seasonings, too. If I use chicken I add a little poultry seasoning and sliced green onions. I've even used diced tomatoes with green chilies.

1 cantomatoes, diced, drained

1/2 tsponion juice

1 tspworcestershire sauce

1/4 cfine bread crumbs
- QUICK DROP BISCUITS:

2 cflour

2 Tbspshortening

4 tspbaking powder

1 tspsalt

How To Make meat and tomato pie

1Preheat oven 400. In a deep dish arrange in alternate layers meat and tomatoes, season each layer with salt and pepper and sprinkle with crumbs.

2Add onion juice and Worcestershire sauce to gravy and pour over all. Bake 20 minutes.

3Make biscuits: Mix and sift dry ingredients, rub in shortening until fine and crumbly, add milk to form a soft dough.

4Remove from oven and drop biscuit mixture by spoonfuls on top; bake about 15 minutes.
