This is sort of like a pot pie version with cheeseburger ingredients, because it has a top and bottom pie crust. Trust me, this is one you will keep available to eat often.

Ingredients For cheesy burger pie

  • 15 oz
    pilsbury refrigerated pie crust
  • 1 lb
    hamburger
  • 1/2 c
    chopped onion
  • 2 tsp
    mustard
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 4 oz
    velveeta, cubed
  • 1/2 c
    ketchup
  • 4 oz
    shredded cheddar

How To Make cheesy burger pie

  • 1
    oven to 400 degrees. Put one crust in 9" pie plate. Brown beef and onion, drain. Stir in mustard, salt, garlic, and pepper. Spoon half beef in crust, half cheese, remaining beef, then cheese. Cover with top crust, seal edges. Cut slits in several places. Bake 30-40 min or until golden brown.
