Well, not exactly a party; just some friends getting together on a Sunday evening, kicking back and having some food and “adult” beverages. So, you ready… Let’s get into the kitchen.

1 Tbspgrapeseed oil

1 Tbspcoconut sugar

1 Tbspbrown mustard, i prefer, grey poupon

1 Tbspyellow mustard, i prefer, woodstock organic

1 1/2 tspcaraway seeds

1/2 tspsalt, kosher variety

1/4 tspwhite pepper, freshly ground

1bottle of light beer
- ADDITIONAL ITEMS

hot dog buns, hoagie rolls, sliced bread, or whatever you choose to place them on.

How To Make summertime essentials:beer-braised smoked sausages

1PREP/PREPARE

2Gather your Ingredients (mise en place).

3Add the smoked sausages to a dry pan over medium-high heat.

4Cook the sausages until they begin to brown, about 4 – 5 minutes.

5Add the remainder of the ingredients to the pan.

6Reduce the heat, and bring the pan to a light simmer.

7Cover and continue to simmer for 2 hours.

8PLATE/PRESENT

9Place one of the sausages, and some of the onions on a bun, hoagie, or slice of bread, and top with your favorite condiments… and maybe some chili. Enjoy.
