I found this recipe from General Mills in 2015, then promptly lost the recipe! As soon as I found it again, I made it. The kitchen smells wonderful...this is like a sloppy joe, but with hot dogs!

Ingredients For sloppy hot dogs

2 Tbspvegetable oil

1 mdgreen pepper, chopped

1 mdonion, chopped (i used a yellow onion)

1 cbbq sauce (i used sweet baby ray's)

16 ozcanned tomato sauce

2 lbhot dogs, cut into 1/4 inch slices

16hot dog or hamburger buns, split
How To Make sloppy hot dogs

1Heat oil in 10 inch skillet over med heat. Cook bell pepper and onion in oil, stirring occasionally, until onion is tender. Stir in BBQ sauce, tomato sauce and hot dogs. Simmer, uncovered, 10 min, stirring occasionally. Fill buns with hot dog mixture.
